When to book a Newborn Photography photoshoot
If you are interested in booking a newborn photoshoot you are best to get in touch with your photographer after your 20 week scan. Its best for baby to be around 6-14 days old for the shoot however baby shoots can be booked up to 6 weeks old.
Choosing your Newborn Photographer
Its really important to choose a photographer for your newborn shoot that you feel comfortable with, my newborn photography sessions are between 2-2.5 hours. These sessions include the whole family, outfit changes and a guide on what to expect during your shoot, some tips on what to wear for the photoshoot and outfit ideas.

What is newborn photography?
newborn photography is a photography session in the early days of your baby being born, I advise within the first few weeks is the best time to capture your baby, these sessions are much longer than a general family photography session. I provide these sessions as a home visit, I come to your home for around 2-2.5hrs and capture baby and the whole family.
Do you have a studio?
Unfortunately I had to give up my studio during covid and I haven’t looked into re establishing a permeant space. As my style is really natural I feel my home session approach to newborn photography works really well. I love that every shoot is really different and it doesn’t look generic like it would if the images are studio shot. Each session is unique to you and your family and I think that’s really important in creating memories for you to cherish forever.
Do you provide props?
I provide wraps and blankets to shoot baby in, I welcome you to use outfits if you wish, I advise to keep outfits plain not to detract from baby.
